Overview

Anna Raguet Irion is an energy transactions lawyer with extensive experience in the midstream and pipeline transportation sector. For nearly two decades, she has advised clients in all stages of the acquisition, development, and operation of midstream facilities.

Through this work, she has developed a deep understanding of how the midstream industry functions in practice – including its customers, commercial arrangements, infrastructure, and the forces driving its evolution. Working closely with her clients, Anna learns not only about the deal or transaction at hand, but also about the client’s overall operations and future development plans. This perspective allows her to structure legal and commercial frameworks around the realities of the business, anticipate issues early, and deliver practical solutions that advance her clients’ long-term objectives.

Anna's approach has resulted in long-standing client relationships and a detailed understanding of her clients’ assets and businesses. She works with her clients on matters ranging from day-to-day commercial contracts to significant acquisitions and development projects.

Anna understands that no two transactions or counterparties require the same approach. Rather than negotiating for negotiation's sake, she calibrates her strategy to the parties, economics, assets, and objectives of each transaction—knowing when to press, when to find common ground, and when a different path will better serve her client.
