AUSTIN, Texas, February 9, 2026 – Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international energy, technology, and life sciences law firm, has added Regina Pearson as a partner in its Austin office. Pearson joins from Greenberg Traurig, where she was a shareholder focused on energy project development.

Pearson has worked on energy projects exceeding $50 billion in value across North America, South America, Africa, and Australia, spanning LNG, power, hydrogen, data centers, transition fuels, petrochemicals, and renewables. She advises clients across the full project lifecycle, from front-end engineering and design agreements through EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) contracts, joint ventures, and the commercial structures that carry projects from concept to operations.

She previously co-chaired the infrastructure team and co-led the energy asset class at Faegre Drinker. Earlier in her career, she held senior in-house counsel roles at McDermott International Inc. and CB&I, where she negotiated agreements for energy and processing facilities and negotiated joint venture agreements. She chairs the Infrastructure, Energy & Environment Division of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law.

The firm has expanded its energy capabilities in recent months with the additions of Anna Irion in midstream and data center energy and Cody Carper in upstream and midstream M&A. Pearson continues that momentum in project development and construction as clients advance complex LNG, hydrogen, carbon capture, and renewables projects across global markets.
