Overview

Catherine Ellis advises public and private companies—with a particular focus on private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies—in a wide variety of complex business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, leveraged buyouts, and joint ventures, as well as operational and general corporate matters. In addition, Catherine advises boards and executive teams on corporate governance, fiduciary duties and other high-stakes corporate and commercial concerns.

Catherine also has significant experience representing conflicts and other special transaction committees and financial advisors in M&A transactions, including going private transactions, restructurings and third-party asset acquisitions.
