NEW YORK, April 23, 2026 – Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international technology, energy,  and life sciences law firm, advised GCI Liberty, Inc. (Nasdaq: GLIBA, GLIBK) on an agreement by its wholly owned subsidiary, GCI Holdings, LLC (“GCI”), to acquire Q Gateway Ultimate Holdings, LLC ("Quintillion") from a subsidiary of funds owned by Grain Management, LLC.

The transaction values Quintillion at a $310 million enterprise value, subject to customary working capital and other adjustments.

Quintillion's more than 1,800 miles of existing subsea and terrestrial fiber and approximately 1,500 miles of planned fiber expansion will combine with GCI's statewide network and operations, advancing GCI’s mission to deliver reliable connectivity for Alaskans. Following closing, GCI will operate the combined network and complete Quintillion's existing grant projects in progress. 

Headquartered in Alaska, GCI provides data, mobile, voice, and managed services to consumer, business, government, and carrier customers throughout Alaska, serving more than 200 communities.
