Overview

Kevin Sharara is an Associate based in the firm's Dubai office.

Kevin is a commercially minded technology lawyer advising on the development, commercialization, and deployment of disruptive technologies, artificial intelligence, and cloud and data-driven solutions. He also regularly advises in connection with corporate transactions involving IP-rich companies, and on various cross-border regulatory issues (with a focus on data protection, and artificial intelligence regulation).

Kevin has advised clients in a variety of sectors, with a particular focus on the Technology, Life Sciences, and FinTech sectors.

He has previously worked with companies at all stages of growth (from seed round to exit), and with the investors financing them.

Kevin trained as a lawyer with a major UK law firm, and previously practiced in the London office of a leading Silicon Valley-based law firm as an associate in the Technology Transactions team. Kevin has also spent some time as in-house legal counsel for a Dubai-based technology company.

Kevin was recognised by legal directory The Legal 500 EMEA as a key commercial and technology lawyer in the region in 2026.

  • a California-based venture-backed technology company on the commercialization of an innovative thermal management solution designed to improve the performance and efficiency of AI-grade GPUs, and related intellectual property matters.
  • the Abu Dhabi-based provider of robotics technology on crafting the customer commercial terms for the licensing of an innovative “robotics-as-a-service” offering in various markets, and on related upstream licensing arrangements.
  • a U.S.-based AI-native spend management software provider on drafting supplemental customer terms for the licensing of innovative AI features, and on compliance with applicable AI laws (including the EU AI Act).
  • a UK-based developer of a boundary-pushing AI-powered national security technology on licensing its technology to large organizations and governmental entities, and related data protection issues.*
