Matthew Fusina is a partner in the firm's Global Projects Practice. Matt provides legal counsel on the development and finance of energy and infrastructure projects. His practice is primarily focused on liquefied natural gas (LNG), natural gas, clean hydrogen/ammonia, and CCUS related transactions. Matt's practice encompasses the entire lifecycle of the project development process, including providing advice on project development and joint venture arrangements and negotiating commodity sales, tolling, operations and financing agreements. Matt has extensive LNG experience and is also actively involved with helping clients to navigate and develop projects in the energy transition and battery storage development space.
In addition, Matt represents end users and non-dealer parties in a wide variety of derivative and carbon credit transactions, including interest rate and commodity transactions. Matt has particular experience with helping clients enter into arrangements for voluntary carbon offsets in the primary and secondary markets.
