Deal Description: On August 22, 2025, TransPerfect, the world’s largest provider of language and AI solutions for global business, announced the acquisition of key assets from Unbabel, a market leader in language AI.

The assets acquired include Unbabel’s proprietary AI platform and language models, its customer relationships, and select employees. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The strategic acquisition further strengthens TransPerfect’s AI capabilities and long-standing position as a leader in developing client- and industry-specific custom AI models. By adding Unbabel’s resources—from proprietary large language models to world-class research talent—TransPerfect looks to significantly broaden the range and sophistication of AI solutions available to its customers.
