Kristina Vu Elected Secretary of Asian American Bar Association of Houston


HOUSTON, January 11, 2024 – Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that senior associate Kristina Vu has been elected Secretary of the Asian American Bar Association of Houston.

The Asian American Bar Association of Houston (AABA) is a voluntary organization of attorneys, judges, and law students of Asian heritage or who have Asian American interests. Founded in 1984, the AABA's membership reflects all aspects of Houston's Asian American legal community. In coordinating social events, continuing legal education, and pro bono and volunteer opportunities, the AABA promotes the Houston society of Asian American lawyers and addresses the needs of Houston's Asian American community.

Ms. Vu is a senior associate in the Litigation Department in Baker Botts’ Houston office. She has handled a multitude of complex commercial matters in state and federal court, including energy-related matters, securities-related matters, and various tort and contract claims. She also has experience with class action lawsuits and multidistrict litigation.

She is an active member of the Houston legal community and has served on AABA’s Mentorship & Law School Relations committee, and the Houston Bar Association's Diversity & Inclusion Committee, the Community in Schools Committee as well as on the Public Statements Committee, and the Gala Committee of the Asian American Bar Association of Houston.
