Baker Botts' Aaron Streett Inducted into American Academy of Appellate Lawyers
HOUSTON, January 4, 2023 – Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers (AAAL) has invited Partner Aaron Streett to become a Fellow in the Academy. AAAL has committed itself to advancing the administration of justice and promoting the highest standards of professionalism and advocacy in appellate courts. The invitation-only admission to the AAAL is reserved for experienced appellate advocates who have demonstrated the highest skill level and integrity.
Mr. Streett, who also chairs Baker Botts' Supreme Court and Constitutional Law Practice in the firm’s Houston office, has presented oral argument in numerous high-stakes appeals, covering the U.S. Supreme Court, the Texas Supreme Court, and various federal appellate courts across the country. He has extensive experience in the Fifth Circuit and D.C. Circuit, with over 35 arguments across those two circuits alone. Mr. Streett maintains an active practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, representing parties in merits cases six times since 2010, as well as filing numerous amicus and certiorari-stage briefs. Mr. Streett's appellate practice includes commercial litigation, federal statutory issues, constitutional law, administrative law, jurisdictional issues, securities, antitrust, and energy litigation.
New Fellows will be inducted into the Academy at The Brown Palace Theatre in Denver, Colorado during April 2023.
