Overview

Kevin Sharara is an Associate based in the firm's Dubai office.

Kevin is a commercial lawyer who advises on complex technology contracts and other strategic commercial arrangements, including in connection with technology development, licensing, and outsourcing. He also regularly advises in connection with corporate transactions involving IP-rich companies, and on various regulatory issues (with a focus on data protection, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence regulation).

Kevin has advised clients in a variety of sectors, with a particular focus on the Technology, Life Sciences, and FinTech sectors.

He has previously worked with companies at all stages of growth (from seed round to exit), and with the investors financing them.

Kevin trained as a lawyer with a major UK law firm, and previously practiced in the London office of a leading U.S. law firm as an associate in the Technology Transactions team. Kevin has also spent some time as in-house legal counsel for a Dubai-based technology company.

  • a major GCC sovereign wealth fund on its early-stage investment in a company seeking to build and operate infrastructure for use by the Space industry in the Middle East.
