May 20, 2025 – Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international energy, technology, and life sciences law firm, announced today that it advised Western LNG LLC (“Western LNG”) and its affiliate Ksi Lisims LNG Limited Partnership (“Ksi Lisims LNG”) in connection with a 20-year liquefied natural gas (“LNG”) Sale and Purchase Agreement (“SPA”) between Ksi Lisims LNG and TotalEnergies Gas & Power Asia Private Limited (“TTEGPA”), an affiliate of TotalEnergies SE. 

Under the SPA, TTEGPA will purchase 2 million tonnes per annum of LNG on a free-on-board basis from the Ksi Lisims LNG project, located in British Columbia, Canada.

In connection with the SPA, affiliates of TotalEnergies will make an initial investment in Western LNG and may increase their ownership subject to the achievement of certain project milestones.
