Baker Botts Represents CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp. in $400 Million Cash Tender Offers

HOUSTON, September 25, 2026 – Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international energy, technology, and life sciences law firm, represented CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp. (“CERC”) in its cash tender offers to purchase senior notes for an aggregate purchase price of up to $400 million, excluding accrued interest.

CERC is an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of CenterPoint Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CNP). The tender offers covered CERC’s 4.10% Senior Notes due 2047, 4.40% Senior Notes due 2032, 5.40% Senior Notes due 2034 and 4.00% Senior Notes due 2028. CERC announced pricing on Sept. 22, 2026, after increasing the aggregate purchase-price limit from $350 million to $400 million and removing a previously announced cap on the 2034 notes. The tender offers settled on Sept. 24, 2026.
