Jennifer brings her years of experience in scientific research and the technology industry to Baker Botts' Intellectual Property group. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a device specialist and clinical engineer for a medical device company.
Jennifer's practice focuses on an array of intellectual property matters, including litigation, post-grant proceedings before the Patent Office, IP Due Diligence, patent drafting and prosecution, and advisory opinions. She has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of legal areas including patents, trade secrets, and trademarks, and has represented clients from the oil and gas, biotechnology, telecommunications, and food services industries.
Jennifer's pro bono and outreach efforts focus on asylum, the Houston community, and the arts. Jennifer has represented asylum clients in affirmative and defensive cases. She has worked with several clients on U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and related contractual matters.
