HOUSTON, June 25, 2026 – Baker Botts Managing Partner Danny David has been named to the inaugural Nasdaq Texas Advisory Board, joining a select group of business, policy and community leaders who will advise Nasdaq Texas as it expands its presence and support for the Texas business community.

The advisory board will work with Nasdaq Texas President Rachel Racz and Board Chairman Ed Knight to help guide the exchange’s regional approach and strengthen connections with companies, investors and business leaders. Its members bring experience across key sectors of the economy, including energy, banking, law, real estate, public company operations and private capital.

As Managing Partner, David chairs the firm’s executive committee, developing and implementing the strategic direction and growth of the firm. In addition to leading the firm, David maintains an active practice. He is a Chambers Band 1-ranked securities and shareholder litigation lawyer, representing companies, their directors and officers, and private equity clients in securities class actions, fiduciary duty lawsuits, M&A litigation, and governance contests. David also serves on the executive committee of the Greater Houston Partnership and the board of visitors of the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
