Deal Description: November 4 – CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC (“CEHE”), an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of CenterPoint Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CNP), announced the closing of its underwritten public offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 5.05% General Mortgage Bonds, Series AO, due 2035.
CEHE intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general limited liability company purposes, including capital expenditures and working capital purposes.
MUFG Securities Americas Inc., RBC Capital Markets, LLC, TD Securities (USA) LLC and Comerica Securities, Inc. served as joint book-running managers. Cabrera Capital Markets LLC served as co-manager.
CEHE provides electric transmission service to transmission service customers in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas region and distribution service to retail electric providers serving approximately 2.8 million metered customers in the Texas Gulf Coast area that includes the city of Houston.
