NEW YORK, May 19, 2022 – Partner Samantha Hale Crispin has been featured in The Deal’s Top Women in Dealmaking list for the second consecutive year. The list honors attorneys who have displayed excellence in their respective legal fields including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, restructuring and activist investing.

Samantha Hale Crispin, Firmwide Chair of Baker Botts’ Corporate Department, was recognized for her work in M&A. Samantha is a seasoned M&A lawyer with over 20 years of experience helping publicly traded and privately held corporate clients and private equity funds in complex M&A, capital markets and strategic business transactions. Her clients are in the media, technology, energy and energy tech, infrastructure and construction products industries.

The Deal sought out “the women setting the bar for the next generation of attorneys.”  To be eligible for the list, lawyers must be partners based in the U.S. and have shown the ability to navigate complex transactions over the past 12 months while maintaining strong client relationships and demonstrated an ability to lead in and out of the boardroom.

The selection of the attorneys was based on nominations from peers and The Deal’s own research.
