Robinson Vu, a Houston intellectual property partner, focuses his practice on patent and trade secret litigation, inter partes reviews before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and technology licensing agreements involving all areas of the cable and telecommunications industries, semiconductors, electronics, and computers. He also provides intellectual property and patent prosecution counsel to oil-field services and general electronics companies. His current caseload focuses on upstream mud equipment, voice-over-IP (VoIP), semiconductor sputtering technologies, DOCSIS and cable industry technologies, and web-based telecommunications technologies. Robinson's intellectual property litigation experience includes all phases of discovery, venue and jurisdiction disputes, prior art research, pre-trial, and trial work. He has represented clients on appeals before the Federal Circuit and before the International Trade Commission (ITC) in Section 337 proceedings.
Prior to law school, Mr. Vu was a systems engineer for the Boeing Company, where he worked on the International Space Station Program.
