During law school, Indya gained hands-on experience through competitive externships with a variety of organizations, including the U.S. Department of Justice, where she worked on environmental enforcement and regulatory matters. These opportunities strengthened her proficiency in key federal environmental statutes, including the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), and the Oil Pollution Act (OPA).
