Martin Toulouse focuses on limited recourse, structured and corporate financings, liability management transactions and restructurings in the energy and infrastructure sectors. His clients include sponsors and corporate borrowers, credit funds and financial institutions. With more than twenty years of experience, he has handled a wide range of complex transactions in the U.S. and Latin America relating to conventional power facilities, renewables, distributed generation and storage, transmission, retail energy, oil and gas (upstream, midstream, LNG, downstream) and mining.
Following graduation from law school, Mr.Toulouse served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles D. Gonthier of the Supreme Court of Canada. Prior to joining Baker Botts, Mr. Toulouse practiced for a number of years with another international law firm in New York and Tokyo. He is a native French speaker.
