Overview

Hannah Roskey is an experienced environmental attorney with cross-border capabilities and a practical approach. She helps clients understand environmental laws and provides strategic advice in response to enforcement, permitting actions, rulemakings, and federal and state litigation.

Hannah started her career in Canada, where she worked for several years as an energy and environmental attorney at the Calgary, Alberta office of a large international law firm. In that role, she helped clients apply for, build, and defend oil and gas, electric, and renewables projects. She frequently appeared before Canadian courts and administrative bodies on complex and contested matters, including in multiple trials, appeals, and permit hearings.

Hannah now uses the technical and practical knowledge she gained in Canada to assist clients in the United States. She advises companies in the energy, manufacturing, transportation, and chemical industries on regulatory compliance and enforcement defense. She also has significant experience leading internal investigations in response to environmental incidents and managing on-site agency visits. Her knowledge spans air, water, waste, and remediation, and she prides herself on understanding the businesses of her clients and giving practical solutions.
