Erica Rose is an intellectual property attorney who works on an assortment of intellectual property matters, with an emphasis on complex patent litigation. Her experience encompasses a wide range of technologies including semiconductor fabrication, cloud computing, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and mechanical devices.
Before joining Baker Botts, Erica clerked for the Honorable Christopher J. Burke in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. As a clerk, she assisted in handling a variety of matters, such as patent infringement, Hatch-Waxman, trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, antitrust and unfair competition disputes.
During law school, Erica was a law student counselor in Villanova's Intellectual Property Clinic. In that role, Erica performed in-depth freedom to operate, patentability, trade secret and trademark analyses. She then continued to participate in Villanova's Advanced Intellectual Property Clinic, where she drafted patent applications for her clients.
