Connor Roddy is an Associate in the Intellectual Property practice at the firm's Dallas office. Connor has worked a broad range of intellectual property matters, with a focus on patent litigation and prosecution. During his practice, he has worked on a wide array of both mechanical and electrical technologies, such as semiconductor design, circuit board manufacturing, and aerospace systems.

Connor has worked across multiple stages of patent litigation, gaining experience in both early and active phases of disputes. His litigation work includes drafting invalidity contentions, preparing and responding to discovery requests such as subpoenas and requests for production, conducting document review, and drafting motions to dismiss on the pleadings.

Connor also has experience before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he has drafted patent applications for technologies such as aerial application aircraft and circuit board fabrication systems. He regularly engages in patent prosecution activities such as responding to office actions and conducting examiner interviews to advance prosecution strategies.

Connor is also committed to pro bono service. He has engaged in veteran advocacy by representing a veteran in a benefits appeal, including drafting the appeal brief in support of the claim.

Connor earned both his J.D. and B.S. in Interdisciplinary Engineering through a combined Engineering and Law program at Texas A&M University. His engineering track integrated core coursework from both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines, providing a comprehensive technical foundation that supports his work across a wide range of technologies in his intellectual property practice.
