Yuyan Pu's practice focuses on a range of environmental litigation, regulatory, and compliance matters at the state and federal levels. Yuyan’s experience includes counseling on air quality permitting and enforcement issues, with particular depth in California and Washington local air district issues. Yuyan also counsels companies on emerging federal and California environmental rulemakings, including the state’s climate disclosure requirements, Cap-and-Invest Program, and fuel-related regulatory programs.

Yuyan maintains an active pro bono practice focused on asylum cases.

During law school, Yuyan was President of the University of Texas School of Law's Environmental Law Society. She also served as a student-attorney in the University of Texas School of Law’s Environmental Clinic, where she worked on matters involving environmental justice, federal environmental compliance, and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act.
