Overview

Aishah Noorhimli is an associate in our Global Projects Practice based in Singapore. Her practice focuses primarily on advising lenders and borrowers in a wide range of finance transactions, including for energy, natural resources, and infrastructure projects. She has particular experience acting on transactions in Asia, including in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar, and India.

Prior to joining Baker Botts, Aishah trained at a regional law firm in Singapore and subsequently joined a leading international law firm for over four years where she gained substantial general banking experience.

  • A business trust on an SBLC and BG facility agreement which was used to support its minority investment in a wind farm in Europe.
  • A club of banks on a US$50,000,000 to a Singapore REIT to partially finance the acquisition of two properties in the US.
  • A syndicate of 15 banks in Asia's first sustainability-linked club loan facility of US$500 million to Olam International Limited.
  • A syndicate of banks on the annual renewal of the Asian sustainability linked revolving credit facility to an international agriculture company.
  • A club of banks on the restructuring of the existing debt package of a Philippines oil refining company.
