Overview

Michael Munoz is a Senior Associate in the firm's global Antitrust and Competition Law practice.

Before joining Baker Botts, Michael's practice comprised of a wide variety of government investigations and complex litigation matters across the country. Michael has defended clients in investigations and enforcement actions brought by the FTC's Bureau of Competition and Bureau of Consumer Protection.

Michael previously clerked for Magistrate Judge Deborah A. Robinson on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. During law school, Michael served as a law clerk to Chairman Thune on the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.

  • Member of appellate team that prevailed in upholding an order dismissing as a sanction a federal enforcement action based on government misconduct during discovery.
