Overview

Ravindran (Ravi) Mudaliar focuses on drafting and prosecuting patent applications for clients ranging from startups to multinational corporations. Ravi’s practice spans diverse high-stakes technology sectors, including network communications, wireless standards, satellite communications, artificial intelligence, network security, cloud-based network storage systems, semiconductors, big data, social networking, video processing, image processing, and mobile service.

Ravi is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has over 14 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience. As part of his prior experience, Ravi has examined PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) applications on behalf of the USPTO in the field of wireless standards, semiconductors, Internet of Things (IoT), smartphone applications, autonomous vehicles, computer networks, and network-attached storage devices. In addition, Ravi has assisted attorneys with patent landscapes, licensing, and patent strategy analysis. Ravi has also drafted freedom-to-operate opinions and conducted searches for several Fortune 50 companies.
