Overview

Dr. Casina Malinchak is a Patent Agent in the Intellectual Property practice of the firm's New York office. Her technical experience is in organic chemistry, synthetic chemistry, and general chemistry. Casina focuses on patent prosecution and strategy, due diligence, and litigation support.

Prior to joining the firm, Casina completed her doctoral research at The City College of New York, The City University of New York. Her work focused on the modification of nucleosides using novel synthetic methods. Casina attended Gettysburg College for her undergraduate studies, where her research included catalyst synthesis and development. 

During graduate school, Casina completed an internship in a technology transfer office at a New York-based healthcare system. Casina has published her findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
