Sean Lee works on a range of intellectual property matters focusing on patent prosecution, litigation, and post-grant review proceedings. Leveraging his experience as an engineer, Sean has experience in prosecuting patent applications relating to a wide range of technologies, including software, machine learning, computer vision, autonomous vehicles, aviation manufacturing, financial services, virtual/augmented reality, and telecommunication. In addition to prosecution, Sean also has experience in patent litigation and inter partes review proceedings involving technologies such as semiconductors and video/audio compression and transmission.
Prior to joining Baker Botts, Sean was a telecommunication engineer at Alcatel-Lucent (acquired by Nokia), where he deployed upgrades to Sprint's network. Sean also served as an open-source legal intern at GitHub.
