Overview

Having depth of experience both in house and at top-quality law firms, Sarah Haddad's practice focuses on providing business-oriented and client-tailored counsel on branding, advertising, and copyright law. With a primary focus on trademark portfolio and brand management, she assists clients with trademark and copyright development and enforcement, trade dress, domain name disputes, social media, advertising, sweepstakes/contests and promotions, as well as licensing agreements and due diligence considerations. She has experience in federal and state courts and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Sarah has advised clients in varied industries, including fashion and retail, social media, consumer electronics, financial services, entertainment, food and beverage, hospitality, real estate and architectural products, and logistics. She is a sought-after thought leader with extensive experience as a presenter and panelist at industry- and practice-specific events, as well as providing IP-focused training for clients and other attorneys.

Prior to attending law school, Sarah worked in research and development for a chemical company specializing in biologics, water treatment, and industrial chemicals, and for a highly specialized middle-market private equity firm focused on the energy industry, specifically mid-stream oil and gas investments.
