Brianna M. Grimes is an Associate in the firm's Washington, D.C. Environmental, Safety and Incident Response practice. Prior to joining Baker Botts, Brianna was a 2024 John A. Knauss Fellow through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Sea Grant Program. As a Knauss Fellow, she worked on marine policy and congressional affairs at the Marine Mammal Commission, an independent, federal oversight agency.
During law school, Brianna served as the Managing Editor of the Pace Environmental Law Review and President of Pace's Environmental Law Society. She also externed in the chambers of the Honorable Richard J. Sullivan, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit; and in the U.S. Coast Guard Office of the Judge Advocate General, Maritime & International Law Division.
