• CenterPoint Energy – Developing the first resiliency plan following Texas CPUC regulations; crafting enhanced systemwide resiliency plan to meet extreme weather challenges and growing load, resulting in the Texas PUC approving $2.7 billion for strategic hardening investments over 3 years.
• Transmission Developers, Inc.– Permitting the Champlain Hudson Power Express project before DOE and the Army Corps; advising on Presidential Permit; supporting the federal regulatory strategy for the project, representing TDI before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the New York Independent System Operator on transmission rate, policy and market rule matters.

Natural Gas

• Midstream – Preparing 7(c) certification application for gathering lines to become FERC jurisdictional with various waivers of FERC reporting obligations.
• Midstream – Preparing 7(c) certification application and advising from initial precedent agreements to open season with anchor shippers and later expansion application.
• Advising on DOE and FERC regulatory and policy issues associated with investment in LNG liquefaction and export facilities.
• Natural Gas Pipeline Developers – Advising on NGA classifications, regulations, and exceptions for gathering lines, plant lines, 311 pipelines, stub lines, and Hinshaw pipelines.
• Natural Gas Company – Filing complex rate proceeding before the Railroad Commission of Texas involving multiple consolidations and establishing an ultimate parent company for providing service.

Oil & Other Matters

• Crude Oil Shippers – Litigating Interstate Commerce Act rate issues before FERC and D.C. Circuit.
• Major Financial Institutions – Conducting regulatory diligence reviews in connection with public equity and registered debt offerings by major oil and natural gas limited partnerships.
