Alexander Connor is a Patent Agent in the Intellectual Property section of the firm's New York office. His practice focuses on intellectual property due diligence and patent preparation and prosecution for corporations and universities.

Alexander has extensive experience with biomedical and mechanical systems including medical device hardware and software, consumer packaging, and construction systems. His specializes in the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patents both offensively and defensively, freedom-to-operate analyses, patentability assessments, due diligence evaluations in connection with transactions (e.g., mergers and acquisitions), competitive landscape analysis, and invalidity searching and claim charting.

Prior to joining the firm, Alexander was a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. His docket consisted of surgical and diagnostic devices and included continuous glucose monitors and associated algorithms, pacemakers, machine learning algorithms, blood pressure monitors, smart apparel and catheters.

Alexander leverages his experience as an examiner to provide quality invalidity search strategies and prior art review, assist with claim chart and mapping, efficiently attend to prosecution matters.
