Overview

Benjamin Chow is an Associate in the Global Projects practice based in Singapore. He advises regional and international clients on a broad range of energy and infrastructure related transactions and projects in Southeast Asia and globally.

Prior to joining Baker Botts, Benjamin was at one of Singapore's largest law firms with the Energy, Infrastructure & Projects team, where he worked on a range of matters relating to digital infrastructure, employment law and the regulation of legal services in Singapore.

  • Keppel Midgard Holdings on a joint venture to own and develop a trans-Pacific subsea telecommunication cable system
  • A buyer consortium comprising of Chandra Asri Capital Pte. Ltd. and Glencore Asian Holdings Pte. Ltd. on the acquisition of Shell Energy and Chemicals Park (now Aster Energy and Chemicals Park) in Singapore
  • Regulatory authority on the grant of a concession to an operator to design, build, own and operate a chilled water plant
  • Experience advising foreign law firms on the establishment and licensing of foreign law practices in Singapore
  • Experience advising on Singapore employment law, including conducting legal risk assessment in cross border employment arrangements
