Lina Almoosa is a Saudi-qualified Associate in our Corporate practice. Lina's practice focuses on cross-border M&A, private equity, joint ventures and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Lina practiced in the Riyadh office of a leading international law firm as an associate in the Corporate and Capital Markets Department, advising a diverse portfolio of international, regional, and local clients.

Lina has contributed to several high-profile and award-winning transactions, representing a range of corporate and financial sponsors, including private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds and government entities across a broad spectrum of sectors.

Lina's experience includes advising:

  • Jadwa Investment on its acquisition of a 35% equity stake in Gissah Perfumes operating across Saudi Arabia and Kuwait — recognized as the Islamic Finance News "Cross-Border Deal of the Year" (2023).*
  • Public Investment Fund in its subscription of 23.08% stake in the Middle East Paper Company by way of capital increase and subscription of new shares.*
  • A regional investment company on its corporate restructuring to enhance operational efficiency and governance frameworks.*
  • On the 100% acquisition of a major Saudi entertainment company, managing all aspects of regulatory approval before the Saudi Competition authority.*
  • A multinational technology company on compliance with cybersecurity and alignment with national regulatory standards.*
  • MBC on its initial public offering.*
  • Saudi companies in relation to drafting and amending articles of association and shareholder agreements and resolutions.*
  • On the incorporation of companies in Saudi Arabia, including obtaining commercial registrations and securing trademark protections.*
