Baker Botts' Environmental, Safety and Incident Response group has launched a video series on “Building your Company’s Environmental Justice Toolkit and the ACELAS Framework.” Baker Botts developed ACELAS as a legal risk mitigation and organizational tool for companies. The ACELAS pillars can help a company evaluate the legal, regulatory, and policy issues raised by increased consideration of environmental justice in permitting, enforcement, and litigation proceedings. Not every company, and not every facility, will encounter environmental justice issues.
