Casey Shomaker works on a range of intellectual property matters, focusing primarily on patent litigation and patent prosecution. Ms. Shomaker has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications involving a variety of technologies including telecommunications, financial services, software, electronic hardware, medical devices, and the mechanical arts. Ms. Shomaker's patent litigation experience includes pleadings, motion practice, pretrial discovery, and claim construction analysis.
During law school, Ms. Shomaker worked in-house for USAA and served as a research assistant. Ms. Shomaker was also active on campus, serving on the board of the Women's Law Caucus.
