In the power sector, he has advised in connection with independent power projects (IPPs) having an aggregate capacity of nearly 28,000MW.
He has experience in a range of industries and sectors including power and renewables, energy transition, EnergyTech, ESG, oil & gas, LNG, refining and petrochemicals, infrastructure and metals, mining and commodities.
His practice is focused on M&A, joint ventures and project development and financing involving complex and high-value energy and infrastructure projects across the value chain.
Shashank has practiced law in large international firms in London, Singapore and New Delhi and has worked on transactions involving nearly 50 jurisdictions with nearly $100 billion in deals/asset value. This diverse international experience gives him a perspective and skillset that he applies to varying situations. Shashank has been involved in some prestigious pro bono projects including pro bono legal advice to the Governments of Sierra Leone and Nepal.
