Aaron Jagoda's practice focuses on patent litigation and patent preparation and prosecution. With a background in mechanical engineering, he maintains a diverse practice across a broad range of technological fields, including high technology devices, computer software, medical devices, and packaging.
Aaron's experience encompasses all phases of patent litigation, including preparing pleadings, invalidity contentions, dispositive motions, pre-trial motions, and preparing experts for deposition in both USPTO and district court proceedings. Aaron has prepared requests for Ex Parte Reexamination and briefs for submission in Inter Partes Review proceedings. Aaron also has experience defending against claims of trade secret misappropriation.
While attending Fordham University School of Law, Aaron was a research assistant for the Fordham Intellectual Property Institute. Prior to attending law school, Aaron worked as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where he examined patent applications directed to turbines, pumps, and subcomponents thereof.
