Mr. Daniels is an experienced antitrust lawyer whose practice focuses on merger clearance, counseling, compliance, litigation, and investigations. He regularly practices before the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice.
Jarad counsels clients through all stages of the merger review process, including representing parties before the antitrust agencies, complying with government information requests, and cooperating as a third-party witness. He has particular experience in the energy, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, media and entertainment, technology, automotive, and chemical sectors.
Jarad represents pro bono clients in petitions for actual innocence in Virginia and the District of Columbia. He currently serves on the ABA Young Lawyers Division Antitrust Law Subcommittee. Prior to joining Baker Botts, Mr. Daniels interned with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs General Counsel's Office in the Appellate Litigation Group.
