Elisa Beneze is an associate in the firm's litigation group, with a focus on antitrust litigation. She has represented clients in matters involving merger litigation against the Department of Justice and private Robinson-Patman Act and Sherman Act litigation, including monopolization, price-fixing, and price discrimination claims. She also has experience representing clients in antitrust leniency applications before the Department of Justice and merger advocacy before the Federal Trade Commission. Her experience covers a broad range of industries, including energy, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and chemical manufacturing. She was named by Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" in Antitrust Litigation in 2020.

Ms. Beneze has represented pro bono clients in petitions for actual innocence, custody disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, and represented an indigent defendant facing criminal charges both at trial and on appeal. While in law school, Ms. Beneze interned with the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois and with the Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. Prior to law school, Ms. Beneze served as the Confidential Staff Assistant to the United States Special Counsel. During law school, Ms. Beneze served as Editor-in-Chief for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. She also provided legal assistance to veterans through the Medical Legal Partnership Clinic in coordination with the Nashville Veterans Administration Hospital.
