NEW YORK, July 9, 2021 – Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international law firm, has announced that Richard Harper has been named Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s New York office. He is succeeding Terence Rozier-Byrd.

Mr. Harper most recently served as chair of Baker Botts’ New York Litigation Department. Under his leadership, the Litigation Department in New York has seen marked success, with diverse new clients and matters, and a rise in thought leadership. Before that, Rich served as the hiring partner for the New York office. He has also been active in the legal community, having served as an instructor since 2013 at the Intensive Trial Practice Workshop at the University of Chicago Law School, a trial advocacy course for upper-level law students.
