Baker Botts Names New Firmwide Tax Department Chair
DALLAS, June 25, 2021 – Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international law firm, has announced that Steve Marcus has been named firmwide Tax Department Chair.
Mr. Marcus has been the head of the Dallas Tax Department since 2014. For over 30 years, he has advised a wide variety of clients on federal tax planning and structuring matters. He has worked extensively with the firm’s Corporate lawyers, has substantial experience in the real estate sector and energy sector, and is a member of the firm’s Oil and Gas M&A team and Private Equity team.
