Baker Botts Represents Kimbell Royalty Partners, LP in Acquisition of Mineral and Royalty Interests
Deal Description: On April 20, 2020, Kimbell Royalty Partners, LP (“Kimbell”), a leading owner of oil and gas mineral and royalty interests across 28 states, announced that it has closed its previously announced acquisition of the mineral and royalty interests held by Dallas-based Springbok Energy Partners, LLC and Springbok Energy Partners II, LLC. The purchase price for the acquisition was comprised of approximately $95 million in cash, subject to standard pre-closing adjustments, and approximately 2.2 million common units of Kimbell and approximately 2.5 million common units of Kimbell Royalty Operating, LLC.
