Baker Botts Welcomes Robin Melman as Executive Compensation Partner in New York
NEW YORK, January 6, 2020 – Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading technology and energy law firm, is pleased to announce the addition of leading executive compensation lawyer, Robin Melman, as a partner in the executive compensation section in the New York office.

Ms. Melman joins Baker Botts from Jones Day. Her practice focuses on advising public and private companies and boards of directors on executive compensation, executive transition and corporate governance matters. She has extensive experience guiding clients through the executive compensation and employee benefits aspects of various corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, spin-offs, initial public offerings, and private equity and leveraged buyouts. She also has particular experience in negotiating employment and incentive compensation arrangements of management groups during deal transitions.

Ms. Melman graduated in 2003, magna cum laude, with a B.B.A. in Finance and Business Economics from Ohio University, and in 2006 with honors from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of The Ohio State Law Journal.
