'The Energy Transition' is Focus at Baker Botts’/Baker Institute’s Third Energy Summit
HOUSTON, September 23, 2019 – For the third consecutive year, Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international energy and technology law firm, and the Center for Energy Studies at Rice University’s Baker Institute, are co-hosting their Energy Summit on October 2. The event will provide a forum for key market players and decision-makers to gather insights into the future of the dynamic energy industry, ranging from oil and gas to power, renewables and technology.
The Summit will feature over a dozen speakers from the oil, gas and power and renewable energy sectors, including prominent corporate, financial and legal leaders. The program will include panels and keynote speeches that address energy transitions and disruptions driven by changing economics, policy and technology.
Program Chairs include Baker Botts partners Bill Kroger, chair of the firm’s Energy Litigation Practice, and Elaine Walsh, chair of the firm’s Power and Renewables Practice.
