In this role, Mr. Taladay leads the BIAC committee advocacy on competition policy before the world’s top competition enforcement officials, seeking to protect business from anticompetitive practices and ensure balanced and unbiased enforcement of the competition laws.
Mr. Taladay is Co-Chair of the Antitrust and Competition Law practice at Baker Botts in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, consistently recognized as one of the world’s leading competition practices. He is well known for his work in gaining merger approvals, defending criminal cartel investigations, litigating civil antitrust cases and managing complex international competition matters.
Based in France, BIAC was formed in 1962 to enable business and industry to have official input into OECD policy making through an independent organization. BIAC provides access to high-level OECD meetings, forums, and discussions on leading matters that impact businesses globally.
