Baker Botts Represents The Carlyle Group in $2.6 Billion Joint Venture with Hilcorp Energy Co.

Deal Description: On July 28, 2017, The Carlyle Group entered into a joint venture with Hilcorp Energy Co. to acquire upstream oil and gas assets in the San Juan Basin of northwestern New Mexico and southwestern Colorado from ConocoPhillips in a transaction valued at approximately $2.6 billion. 

The acquisition closed on August 1, 2017.
