Holmes, a partner based in Baker Botts’ Houston office, focuses on capital markets transactions for master limited partnerships (MLPs) and corporations in the energy industry. She also has deep experience with mergers and acquisitions in the energy industry and complex SEC, securities and corporate matters. Her clients include issuers and underwriters in securities offerings; buyers, sellers and conflicts committees in M&A transactions; and public corporations and MLPs in day to day corporate counseling.
She enjoyed a banner year, which included representing Shell in a $920 million MLP IPO, Chesapeake Energy Corp in a $3.1 billion spinoff of its well services and Noble Corp. in a $2.6 billion spinoff of its standard specification business.
