BRUSSELS, May 27, 2014 -- Baker Botts has announced that Partner Catriona Hatton has been appointed as co-chair of the firm’s Global Antitrust and Competition Law group. She joins Baker Botts Washington Partners John M. Taladay and Sean Boland as chairs of the expanding global group.
Hatton heads Baker Botts’ Brussels office. She has extensive experience in merger control and general competition laws aspects of M&A, having obtained EU and multiple international merger approvals in dozens of major transactions and counselled clients on strategic alliances and a variety of commercial arrangements. Hatton is ranked in GCR’s Who’s Who Legal among the world’s foremost practitioners in antitrust.
