WASHINGTON, D.C., May 17, 2013 -- Michael Bodosky, who has extensive background representing clients on competitive implications in mergers and acquisitions under the Hart-Scott-Rodino (“HSR”) Act, joined Baker Botts as Special Counsel in the firm’s Antitrust practice. He will be located in the Washington office.
Bodosky’s practice primarily focuses on antitrust and competition law and litigation. He advises on all aspects of antitrust law including premerger notification, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, horizontal and vertical restraints of trade, monopolization and exemptions and immunities to the federal antitrust laws. Bodosky has represented numerous clients before the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission.
Prior to joining Baker Botts, Bodosky was Antitrust Counsel at Latham & Watkins. Previously, Bodosky was a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. He received his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law and his B.A. from Pennsylvania State University.
